Shikoku Gym Leader - Dusty

Another of my Shikoku Gym Leaders, there has only been one Ground Type Gym Leader ever, which was Giovanni and he didn't really show much of a ground theme to him. I'm not too sure if this guy's design shows it either, but I was happy with how he turned out.

Dusty is a former Pokemon Ranger, having worked around the world protecting Pokemon from would-be poachers and thieves. When his family's gym was at risk of being closed down, Dusty left his busy lifestyle and returned to Sandrock City to save it from closure.
Dusty took over as the Sandrock Gym Leader and decided to help the Gym along by having it double as a Pokemon reserve. Many Ground type Pokemon inhabit the wide open plains and deserts that surround Sandrock City and so he mainly protects them, but also a larger range of different Pokemon as well.
Dusty can be quite gruff and grumpy, but he has strong heroic qualities in his personality including a strong sense of justice and a compassionate heart. He tries to be serious and stern most of the time, but he has a weakness for girls in skirts.
